More Than A Date
Easter to me..
1. Is to have my sins forgiven and be forever cleansed and pure.
2. Is to be forgiven.
3. Is the basis of all that I believe in..His coming..His death..His resurrection.
4. Reminds me that I serve a living and compassionate God.
5. Is to have reconciliation with God and have an amazing relationship with Him.
6. Is to be empowered and not to be afraid of death.
7. Is to be embraced and showered in His love always.
8. Reminds me to forever cherish this given grace.
Romans 6:8-11
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
